Description
The Living in Society series has been designed for secondary students who require extra or intensive assistance in citizenship and social education. Each title in the series covers a particular theme and provides activities to develop students’ awareness of different facets of society.

Highlighting issues such as right and wrong, fairness, democracy and equality, the activities will help students think, talk and write about concerns in their own lives and the lives of others. At the same time students will also be made aware of how to live a safe and healthy life. The activities are designed to develop students’ social skills and help them share, take turns and resist bullying as well as taking more responsibility for their actions.

The activities are straightforward and simply designed and are extended by further work in the Notes for Teachers at the end of each book. A student record sheet is also included in the back of each title.
