About the Authors
The authors are experienced teachers, authors and curriculum consultants and bring to this project a wealth of knowledge in the subject area.
Grant Kleeman is the Coordinator of the Secondary Teacher Education Program at Macquarie University’s Australian Centre for Educational Studies. He is an experienced teacher, teacher educator, author, curriculum consultant, and a Higher School Certificate and School Certificate examiner.
Judy Adnum is a Lecture in Education at Sydney’s Macquarie University. She is an experienced teacher, author and curriculum consultant. Judy has extensive experience in the development of educational resources for Civics and Citizenship.
Robin Farr is an experienced teacher / librarian and ESL teacher, having worked for many years in resource based learning environments. Robin also has first hand experience of small business management.
David Hamper is an experienced teacher and author. He is Head of HSIE at Wenona School in North Sydney.
Shani Hartley is a teacher of Commerce, Economics and Business Studies at the Northern Beaches Christian School. Before entering teaching, Shani worked in taxation accounting and funds management.
Rod Lane is an experienced teacher, author and teacher educator. Rod has worked in both public and private schools. He currently teaches at SHORE.
Tina O’Connor is teaching Social Science at Sydney’s Holroyd High School. Before embarking on a teaching career, Tina was a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and worked in the banking sector.
